Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The tungsten concentrate price in China failed to move up despite the tight supply due to the stricter environmental Cemented Carbide Tool protection inspection. But producers predict the raw material price will rise further before the Lunar New Year holiday (January 24-30). 

The ammonium tungsten carbide plates paratungstate (APT) market maintained stability affected by the stabilization in the raw material markets. Downstream users were not active in purchasing, but reduced production of cemented carbide tool factories at the end of the year lowered the pressure of the market. So APT price still kept stable. For the tungsten powder market, buyers were not willing to purchase high-price raw materials. The whole transactions did not improve and are expected to continue in the short term.
